During the 18th century, the Seychelles emerged into the spice trade, its lush hillsides and forests ideal for producing the highly sought-after nutmeg, cloves, and cinnamon that the European market craved. More than two hundred years later, the fragrant spices are a mainstay of Seychellois culture and history, their rich, earth-toned hues providing dramatic inspiration to our Seychelles Collection.
